Dear Reader,

And just like that, it's time to write the last newsletter of 2022. (WHAT?)

I could write endlessly about this year, how hard and joyful it's been, how the highs and the lows were higher and lower than any year before, how I wasn't sure we'd still be around by the end of it, and how excited I now am about 2023.

Instead, let me share a few thank yous with you today:

• THANK YOU to YOU. You are what keeps us going. You are what keeps the lights on here. You are our flock, our people.
• THANK YOU to my amazing team. Elsa, Jess, and Claire - you are my rocks, and my rockstars. Claire, I still miss you every day. Melinda, Camille, Davina, Emma, Paloma - without you, the magazine and this year's issues wouldn't be what they are, and I am so thankful for you.
• THANK YOU to the designers, artists, and yarn partners I was privileged enough to work with this year. You are absolutely incredible.
• THANK YOU to our test knitters - you were outstanding in 2022 and I can't wait to see what you create in 2023!
• THANK YOU to the people who keep me going. The ones who are just a WhatsApp away, the ones who keep showing up, the ones who I can share my wildest dreams and fears with. The ones who've been with me forever, the ones who became friends this year. This business owner thing - heck, this life thing - would be so lonely without you.

Here's to 2023, friends. May it be a gentler year, a kinder one, a more peaceful one. May we - may you - find space and dreams and hope wherever you are.

Off the Needles: Aurin's Treasured Cowl!

One thing I want to do more of in 2023 is documenting my knits on the blog. We're starting early with this last blog post of 2022 - with my latest FO!

A little while ago, I realized that Aurin was still living in his cotton cowls from the fall, and that while they are sweet, they're NOT warm. One lovely conversation with him about the yarn and color he wanted and three evenings later, and his new Treasured Cowl was done! (You definitely want to click through to this post because you do not want to miss Aurin's styling of the cowl!)

On the screen: Episode 43 - Brrr, it's freezing! Two new WIPs, a finished pair of socks, and my beloved Lueur Shawl!

Winter Break: Webshop stays open, shipping & email support resumes on Jan 2!

Like ever year, we're going on a short Winter Break! From December 23 to January 1, we'll be offline (save for the occasional Instagram story).

The webshop stays open, and all orders that come in during that time will be shipped on January 2.
